Aaah yes Love Tusk's playstyle, just wish I can get used to gauging when I should initiate or use shadow blade then walrus punch.
But as for alternates aside from the three, it's Ancient Apparition, Lion, Nightstalker, Chaos Knight, Jakiro, and Lina
:3 Though I guess I'm really torn between Abaddon and Sven which are my favorites, I mean I love aba's borrowed time (shame it got nerfed from doom) -w-; just like storm hammer got dodgeable.

Practice tusk mid in bot games. You should play cautious in a team fight but he excells VERY well at picking off anyone out of position. Alternatively you could do your combo on someone who's on the outer edge of the team fight. Also make sure to check if any of them have dust. If they start carrying dust, a force staff or even blink would be great.
