I can't tell you how excited I was to see these little girls. I went for a walk down by the creek close to my house. Randomly I go into an area with a big old dead tree. Looking up I saw movement and realized it was a bee hive. I haven't seen many bees around here and with the numbers of honey bees on the decline I smiled to see a thriving nest. I made sure not to disturb them and I want to go back and take better pictures and just check on them. I just hope no one finds it and messes with them but in the area they are in it's very unlikely. There is no path and unless you look for them you can pass it without even realizing they are there.

Not sure how big it really is or if they have honey yet but considering it's a big tree and it's hollow I bet there is some hidden treasure in there ^^
