Lance crammed the last cheeseball into The Ungeheuerschmaus' mouth. He went to the icebox and got all the milk, all the bread, all the sausages his father brought home from work, and even the mustard, and climbed back up on top of the fat belly. He quickly made sandwiches one at a time and shoved them in the bloated monster's mouth, who was again making cute happy chirping sounds again at being fed.
After he fed the monster all the sandwiches and the milk, he slid back down the belly and left the icebox open and threw the empty cartons around on the floor.
''Poppa will think that you rummaged through the icebox this way!'' said the sneaky bird.
''Come on!'' said Lance as he grabbed The Ungeheuerschmaus' paw. ''Let's go to my room now.''
Being visited by The Ungeheuerschmaus on a regular basis, all the homes in the village of Flußberg are built with very wide doors and hallways, so it was no problem for the now enormous monster to get out of the kitchen.
Lance's father slept in a bedroom upstairs; but Lance's room was on the ground floor near the kitchen. He led the monster by the paw into his room and closed the door.
They were both very tired at this point, so Lance led The Ungeheuerschmaus to the right side of the room where his bed was. There was no way the monster would be able to get into Lance's bed, so he had him sit on the floor next to the bed.
Lance climbed back up on the big soft warm belly, and rested his head on the creature's moob. The creature was so fat that Lance imagined this was what sleeping on a waterbed must feel like as he draped a leg over each side of the round belly.
The creature held onto Lance with his paws as they started to drift off to sleep in the darkened room. Their breathing started to synchronize; as did their dreams. As their breaths inhaled as one, Lance dreamed of feeding The Ungeheuerschmaus an entire bakery, and The Ungeheuerschmaus dreamed of being fed by Lance.
