I felt it was time for the poem to be resubmitted. I liked writing it.

In class, we were asked to come up with our own version of a poem by a certain author, Li Bo, who based his poem on the line: "When she was here, she was flowers and spice. Now shes gone, and it's an empty bed." Something like that. So we took the poem and did our versions, using references to a state and city in particular.
