Now you do, the movie is long, especially the director's cut. It gives the reality of U-boat crews how these teenagers manned the boat and the captians were in their late 20's early 30's.

LOL, the english word for "U-Boot" is submarine, not U-boat. ;) But, yeah, the movie is great.

I can only recommend it, but not the director's cut, if you can, get your paws on the short series (about 4 parts each 2 hours) - it kept me awaken for so many weeks when it was aired on tv here

essentially like a rider's boots without the foot part. smooth and mostly black. some are closed with straps, some with a zipper. I recommend fleamarkets to look for them. :)
