My original species I would like to introduce you all to batphantes they are a closed species so no stealing my design.
Species Info:
"Creatures of awe and mystery, Batphantes strike fear into the hearts of those that dwell near swamps or in jungles. Much lore has sprouted up about these creature that looks like a mix of a bat and elephant. Many believe seeing one is a sign of bad luck. Their life spans seem to be as long as 200 years according to some old documents , but there are a few cases here and there where individuals have exceeded this age. Careful observations from explorers have come to take note that they as a species are omnivores; however they don’t pass up a good hunt. They generally range in size from ten to fifteen feet, noting that males are larger than females. Records indicate that females range somewhere between ten to twelve feet while their male counterparts range from ten to fifteen feet. Some differences to tell genders apart aside from looking at their genitalia is, males are seen with large or broken tusks while females usually have either no tusks or much smaller tusks than that of males. Males battle for dominance for prospective mates as well as being the head of the herd. Some males have missing tusks from previous battles. It will however be awhile till a broken tusk can grow back but they can be sharpened. Many of the records on them say they range in coloration and pattern; however males tend to be darker in coloration. Their base skin colors tend to be more neutral natural tones while the fur is brighter and more colorful. Their strength is quite remarkable, one account saying one could lift a heavy bolder with little to no effort. With large powerful wings they are able to travel though all sorts of weather conditions. They are also said to have enough dexterity in their trunk that it can function as an extra hand. There have been sightings of Batphantes whom seem more anamalistic looking than others which has lead researchers to believe that they can shift into different forms."
