Faerie pinup commissioned by
of her character Anthemis. Something bright and cheery to go with a spring afternoon! n_n
My scanner killed the color in the background...again. -_- Why does it hate green so much?
I will be opening for more of these today, if you'd like one please watch your submissions for the opening!

Your faeries are still just the cutest little things. I love the design of her wings, and all the little flowers that are twined around her. Not to mention those really pretty stockings and gloves! It's just the perfect mood for spring, and of course you can never go wrong with a lovely brown and cream doe.
This is very nice, Luthien. I like the diagonal movement with this piece, and how the flowers are wrapped around her. I love how the color scheme came out with the white and yellow flowers and how you incorporated that into the stockings and armwear (which are super fun and cute looking btw!). And then the green underwear on top of that to match with the stems is a really nice touch. So she matches her element perfectly. :) I also like how the wings turned out, both with the spots and how they are translucent in parts.
I'll take your word on the background. It looks all right here, with the various bits of paper having a very old vintage feel.
Thank you so much for working on this for me! It looks really lovely!

Yeah the paper is cute, it has much more of a pastel green tint to it though and for some reason my scanner just refuses to translate that shade, or most other shades of light green. Actually it pretty much hates any pastel/light color.
Glad you like it, I think I figured something out that works for that light brownish-grey color - oddly enough, the gold colored pencil. lol I'm gonna have to start tracking some copics down to fit some of these colors people have been throwing at me.
