Before Zack was still Zola~
He was originally a fox, but due to events within his childhood he became a Pengia.
As for the person after Zack, I'm sure he will be fine~
There is a rule for Pengia's not to take any living being permanently for them self. Their minds would merge during the process and they risk loosing them self.
