I have named this alligator Mongo haha. He was a 12ish foot big boy from Brazos Bend. he was extremely patient with everyone that was walking by, which is good because the first group to walk by him had a little 6 or 7 year old boy that would NOT shut up.

Oh they are beautiful creatures, as long as we give them respect. He was a bit testy that day, though, due to all the people walking around... and that little child got a little too close for his comfort. I love to go to Brazos Bend, though, because we get to walk right next to the gators.
I think it's in Needville, Texas. It's called Brazos Bend State Park. It's about an hour away from where I live in Houston, I think.
