a reference for butterbat! (shorthand: bbat. bee-bat.)

butterbat is one of three muses, and one of two sonas. she and xiki are how i represent myself, and thus they have deep symbolic meaning to me!

butterbat a pseudo bat; she is not a true bat as she lacks flight and is bipedal. she is also female, but otherwise completely asexual, as she lacks any kind of reproductive organs.
her locomotion is not unlike a penguin - she waddles with wings out for balance, and will hop as opposed to running.
she is better suited for climbing and clinging, and will form symbiotic relationships with individuals, exchanging care for unconditional love and support.
butterbat does not need to eat, but if she does, still enjoys pastry crumbs, yogurt, fruit, and used tea bags.

butterbat represents unconditional love, loyalty to others, empathy, emotions, and trust
but she also represents vulnerability, fragility, dependence, weakness, and irrationality

she is small and easy to harm, and will wither away if left on her own
but given a companion she is completely adoring, and willing to do all she can to make that companion happy
