This is what I got done last night. I think it's coming along nicely. Lot better than I thought it was going to a month ago.
So, what I've got to do is the horns now. I'm going for a kind of copper dragon horns, as I think I've stated before...
(I think it looks very raptor-ish right now ^^) Jaw moves :D I'll have to figure out how to make the piece of skin between the top and bottom jaws...that my cheek is standing in for in this flat picture XD
So, horns next, then smoothing and scaling. Then color and hair :D Stay tuned!

Ah... well, if you were to bunch the spandex up a little to give it that strained skin look , and detail it with some fabric paints, you could probably make something thats passable. Spandex should be available at any of your local fabric shops.
Next bet is silicone rubber, which is much more expensive and would be a lot of work for those two small pieces...

oh yeah. I took some pictures of it before, but I've changed the length and stuff. Also, I'm still trying to get it to lay correctly. ^^;

Bsically the only thing I changed was that the hinge is on the inside of the top of the head instead of the outside. Just because I am not going to be putting fabric or fur over it...so the hinge would show.

Yeah. Mine does a little too. I'm actually going to have to tighten the top straps to make it fit better. And raise up the "cheek bones" to compensate.
Oh, I didn't use the elastic, only for the connection. The strap that diagonal is just for extra support and tightness, runs into my ears though :/ I'll post pictures of the hinge soon, I know you wanted to see them and I had someone else ask too. ^^ My camera is finally working again, the batteries have been goofing up.
Can I see what you have? Maybe I could make suggestions by seeing it?
