Well, what Rusty (the writer) should have remembered at the time was that Usagi Yoshiro (aka Cute Dazzle) did use to be a villain. And Villains tend to hold grudges and attempt to get revenge. Of course, as any true tv villain, he'd never succeed getting his revenge. Good thing he's a good guy now, right?

At least now he's learned his lesson… I think…

I just got the idea and figured, why not? I did imagine myself as a rabbit at least once or twice while I was trying to find myself a fursona. Dazzle was one of the candidates, but he didn't feel quite like me. Chimera all the way!… most of the time at least.
