Routine rhyme scheme. A pretty idiosyncratic rythm-- alternating lines, the first line is an amphimacer followed by four iambs = 11 syllables, 6 stresses. The second line is three dactyls followed by a trochee, or an iamb followed by three anapests. Either way, = 11 syllables, four stresses. I kind of like the way it turns out; it hints at a 2/3 polyrythm.
So. I guess, my thing is, I read a lot of poetry on FA written by people in the heat of the moment, about the vicissitudes of egocentric teenage romance games, and how direly plunged into darkness would-be-poets are left.

Well, I realized that it referred to a high school crush, for the typical top of the popularity chain, attractive, girl, in the first two verses, and a romance, with the unpopular or shy girl in the second half. Of course, the second girl is impregnated as far as I can tell.
As for the poem in its entirety. It is an excellent piece of work.
And yes, I do have a habit of finding art I enjoy by following the people who comment on my works, at least on deviant art.
