For my "Women in Arts" final, we were assigned to create a piece of artwork in the spirit of/dedicated to a female artist of our choice, and this time around, I chose Rebecca Sugar, former musician for Adventure Time, and the creator of Steven Universe! Long story short, I decided to draw a Crystal Gem based on her.

Since sugar itself can be crystallized, I don't see why there can't be a sugar based Crystal Gem! It worked out perfectly :D!

While designing her "weapon", it went through a few different changes, but ultimately, I decided on a ukulele based on a rock candy stick.. which may or may not also double as a mace! Or vice-versa, I dunno! YOU DECIDE!
