The only thing I'm questioning is how the original song actually charted on Billboard...and got as high as #4. I mean, even some of the worst songs that chart on Billboard have some level of effort put into them. Even Bruno Mars's 'The Lazy Song,' a song written entirely from the perspective of a lazy @$$hole, and whose lyrics are entirely about how lazy and useless the narrator of the song is, had more effort put into it than 'Say Something'.
...Hell, even 'The Harlem Shake' had more effort put into it, and that song only had one line in it!
