The bandits have already taken down the fox guards who laid on the ground, trying to crawl to safety. The bandits have dirty tunics and carry axes. their long weasel bodies can get through any small crack as they came from one in the wall. There was ten of them all over the place they looked at the gate and thought of their next raid. The castle or the town? Russel, Sandy Holly and Squeak all came out the door and looked round at the battlefield the castle ground has become.
"Ten bandits. That won't be too hard to beat." Russel said as he scouted the area.
"We mustn't take them too lightly. They maybe clumsy with them axes but when they hit with them. It takes two blows before we lose to them," holly said.
"The fox guards hasnt got a healer with them. With you with us we have a chance of survival," Sandy pointed out.
" Shall we get them?"
"Let's do it before they see their chance,"
Russel ran towards the west sid of the castle, two bandits came running as they spotted him. The bandits were all over the place. Sandy went east Squeak stay near the entrance to attack any that tries to get out or in. Holly stayed close to Squeak as a bandit went to attack him. but the bandit missed Squeak as he dodged the attack. Russel's sword blows got the bandits in the chest. Sandy jabbed the other with her lance who was wielded by her rider.,who held it as sandy ran towards the fiend. both horse and rider work well together and many ran away from them. sandy did suffer some injuries. The others not so bad. Holly came and used her heal rain spell on Sandy to make her wounds heal. She got to the others and healed them too. With everyone's effort the bandits were beaten.
"We did it!!" Sandy cheered.
"In your face bandits!!" Squeak said rudely as the fallen laid on the ground, dead.
