Let's see...the card is in a small plastic sleeve, in a magnet card case and it's in an aluminum suitcase with dual dial locks on it....is this too protective? Nah it's an Ultra Rare card that costed me $40 so it needs protecting.

that might be how you see it, but anyone can say something is a waste of money. Like the money you paid to get your icon, commission, art of your characters or such. Be careful and thoughtful before calling someone elses items a waste of money. Obviously it means something to them, and you really have no business in depreciating it.
