One piece is one of my fav animes Wow he looks just like he does walking in the show, 'cept the hat flap but I agree with you that it adds more action to the scene.

Hehe, if One Piece had a larger budget they would likely add those kind of effects. Glad to know there are other OP fans besides myself. Too bad most of them I know live nowhere close to me. <=/

Hehe thanks. I use a scene reference of when they first meet Chopper and they are learning of his past. In specific, this is when he went searching for the poisonous mushroom that could supposedly cure TB (Tuberculosis.)

Yeah! Thats a great little walk cycle! I watched One Piece for a long time but eventually i got tired of it, especially after a few filler arcs, like the old man on the island and junk. I got up to like 160 eps tho, and just getting to watch chopper be soooo adorable all the time was totally worth it :D

Now you need to catch up to Eps 350 and up. the new character "Brook" is really awesome and funny. Almost rivals my love for Chopper... Almost.

Yes. That example you gave IS tastes. The situation you're trying to make a metaphor from it is not.

Ivankov isn't the tomato in a tomato salad. He's not the great part of a whole... He's like a bread crumb in a salad. In fact he's just a plot piece. That's kind of a bad example... A better one would be a child that is being introduced to a food they see as disgusting. They refuse to eat their broccoli because it's green, however it can be quite tastey if you salt them or put cheese on them. Just like your GF doesn't want to watch One Piece because it's got Ivankov in it. Where as if she probably watched certain key moments that make One Piece the epic piece that it is, she might enjoy it a little more. That would make more sense to me honestly.

I really want to apologise too. Honestly I guess it's just the fanboy in me talking, because One Piece is mt favorite anime/manga of all time right now, (has been sense early 2000s) and I absolutely LOATHE when someone says they don't like it, especially when it's a very illegitimate reason. However if she doesn't like shonen, then she doesn't I suppose. Just like I can't stand most Shojo, which I bet she's more attracted to.

Over-all, Sorry for showing off my fanboy wrath, (It's like curse of the werewolf honestly. There are just certain times I can't control it.) enjoy One Piece, enjoy my gallery, and may your girlfriend enjoy... whatever it is she likes. ^^;;

My girl never liked one piece because she is not into shounen, and when I convinced her to watch a chapter with me, she saw ivankov and said shed never watch that show again, just to be funny (because she didnt like it in the first place). I dont even get why I'm explaining this to you, I couldnt give moreof a damn about what a fanboylike yourself thinks of my baby's tastes. I already knew you're a fanboy, it shows too much. Thats the reason I didnt get offended, because paying attention to a fanboy is the same as paying attention to a troll, youre just gonna feedtheir ego. There are no illegitimate or legitimate reasons to like or not to like something, you just do (or just dont), and you have to respect that. Ill just tell you what I say to every fanboy I encounter: grow up, no one cares about your tantrums. One Piece is just a manga, something so suplerfluous shouldnt be the fucking center of your life; and if it is, thats really sad. Get a girl (or a guy, whatever you're into), you need it. I not a fan of One Piece yet, but I am trying to get into it because the person I love enjoys it so much. My mate is studying to become an animator and is attending one of the nations finest colleges for just that. Plus, he is a furry that interacts and gives back to this fandom. Person like this just can't be a troll. Before you speak and label people you don't know you better be able to back up your claims. You shouldn't label a person just because of your own malice.
