This pic is part of an attempt that might be doomed to failure. Non-equine MLP fans are faced with the decision to either change species, or accept the properties of their species in the MLP universe. In that universe, timberwolves are stinky, souless monsters. Dogs and even doggy big mac are cute, but not timberwolves. Are they cute as cubs? Is their species doomed to be unlovable and intolerable?

The cannon character design might be more of a hurdle than what they've done. The pony designs are simple and elegant - flat, well styled and designed. In sharpest contrast, the timberwolves are jumbles of extra lines and textures.

Of course, the quest to capture cute timberwolves might be doomed to failure, or pointless. Just call me Don Quixote. (On the other paw, I might give up. In that case, call me Rocinante,)
