Okay, I'm mostly posting this to let people know that I'm not dead. I've been (trying to) work on that chapter of "Forget About Me", but it really is harder than I thought it'd be. So instead I decided to get back to my roots and work on a little silly little fanfiction for a while. Well, that while kind of turned into over four months later.
Either way, here's two characters you might not recognize. They're from this little picture here:( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10996501 )
Raider is the Riolu and the Zoroark… er… still a Zorua here's name is Dimitree. They're brothers who were brought together by chance and now they fight together against the evils that arise in the PMD world. What makes these two so special? Well, nothing is really unique about Dimitree just yet, but I'm getting to that.
Raider is equally nothing special. In fact he could be considered as very cliché.
Let's see:
_√_ 1. He used to be human.
_√_ 2. He's a Riolu that's wielding a Honedge like a real sword.
___ 3. He's a shiny.
___ 4. He uses a Bonzor as a shield.
___ 5. He's a Gary Stew …
Hm… maybe not nearly as cliché as I thought he'd be. I simply took the characters (from the previously mentioned picture) and decided to write their origins and a few of their adventures together.
Here's a sneak peak of the first page ^_^
Raider's Steel
(Prologue)
There's an ancient legend among Pokémon. Long ago, a golden Lucario by the name of Artorius ruled the lands as the Pokémon King. Under his rule, the King protected his fellow Pokémon from the forces that wished to instill chaos. His subjects knew nothing but peace for as long as he was alive. On his side, were the PokéKnights, a band of elite Pokémon that specialized in their own styles of combat. Each believed in their own forms of justice, but loyally followed their king's wisdom. The source of his great power was believed to have come from his chosen sword, Calesvol, the Agealslash. It is said that what made Calesvol so powerful was in that he contained the memories of every Great Leader before him.
During the final battle, Calesvol fought with the King to the bitter end. While Artorius had survived, his beloved Agealslash's shield fell broken beyond repair. As we all well know, Agealslash's shield served as Calesvol's sheath and his anchor. As with many Ghost-types, Agealslash cannot survive long without their anchor. In grief at the loss of his comrade, Artorius fell into a mad rage against his enemies. Taking this moment of weakness to his advantage, Medraut the Bisharp struck the King down. The PokéKnights soon buried Artorius with the soulless Agealslash as a headstone. In turn, the lands fell into darkness once more.
Some time after, a mystic Alakazam of the name Ambrosius took the sword that had once housed Calesvol's soul. Using his mysterious powers, Ambrosius breathed life into the blade only once more. The blade shone with a light that could be seen for miles on end. The pure spirits of Artorius and Calesvol silently stood to face Medraut. In this battle, Artorius drove Calesvol right through Medraut, forever turning him to stone. Now at peace Artorius and Calesvol moved on to the other side.
But Ambrosius warmed the PokéKnights that Medraut's evil would one day return. Before that time, a new King must be found. One who was as great as their late King Artorius who wields a blade as strong as Calesvol. The PokéKnights then made a vow to search the world for blade wielders who could some day become the New Pokémon King.
Throughout the Generations, the secret society of Pokéknight continued their search for the one to become Pokémon King. By training young warriors with pure hearts, the tradition continued on even long after the humans began to appear in their land. Today, the PokéKnights remain hidden from the humans, but the legend of the King Artouius and Calesvol was never forgotten. Their story continues on…
