These were also posted to tumblr already, but I'm finally getting around to posting these cuties up her~

Some info on the Marroes:
They have long whiskers growing from right below their ears that can move individually that they mostly use for feeling vibrations and things within their blind spots. Their eyes are made of minerals, usually some kind of jewel or meteorite, and are always diamond shaped. Their fingernail-like hooves and "nipples" are also made of these minerals aswell. Because of how top-heavy the Marro species anatomy is, they more often move supported by their big paws, leaning over like a gorilla would. They can move standing up straight if they want, but only when walking, it puts way too much straign on their body if they try to when running. They have only a single sharp triangular tooth in front, with molars much furthur when they actually chew their food. They have big hamster-like cheeks to store large amounts of crystals to bring home so that they can go out to gather as little often as possible and still have enough to eat, because of how vulnerable they are outside of their homes. Speaking of, Marroes tunnel into the ceilings of caves to build their homes, sleeping near the entrance so that they stay alert by hanging their whiskers out it to sense oncoming threats. They spend a lot of their times hiding because of how they live alone. Marroes ARE A social species, but they live alone to keep the risk their numbers dropping lower. Lastly, they have fur only over their arms, legs, and chest, and their tails can take any thickness and length, and rarely have any hair, fur, or scales on them, scales being the rarest of the three. Marroes with scaled tails are more powerful and are often less afraid of being harmed, and often seemed out by other non-scaled Marroes for protection, their tail scales also being made out of the same minerals as their eyes, hooves, and "nipples".
