Carl is a Huntsman spider (Heteropoda venatoria) to be exact. my best friend gave him to me in this little container about 4 years ago. He's so creepy, but I can't bring myself to get rid of him.
This is carl, he's my first preserved insect, and really I have no idea how he died. But he has been dead a LONG time. I keep him because whenever I start to get scared of spiders I remind myself that Carl is one of the biggest I've ever seen, and I should be happy that those tiny spiders aren't him.

This fella is OLD and not even well preserved tbh. But He has a special place in my heart. Its the first gift my best friend ever gave me. It was a gag gift at first but Carl here has survived being lost like 10 times. He now resides on my shelf with my skull and books. I have to remind myself when I look at him that he's been dead for 4+ years XD
thank you though! He loves the attention I'm sure XD

LoL I do, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11845169/ female Tigrosa Aspersa, aka wolf spider.
ah sad to say I don't see him being for sale anytime soon. He was a gift from my best friend. Actually the first gift he ever gave me (says something about us lol) but Carl has a special place in my heart, despite how much he creeps me out lol. Either way. Thank you for the interest, and I hope you stick around to see more of my taxidermy type things! :)
