well I can't tell what you might have been of afraid of because i don't see anything that isn't quite excellent. the coloring and shadows look pretty confident to me. as always your linework is super interesting; I love all the convolutions, rolls, and whispy-jelly-tentacley distensions, especially as they contrast with the simplicity of the mask designs and X pupils. so many textures and components!
I may just be seeing it wrong, but it doesn't seem like the drippinesses of the severed tentacloids are mutually attached to the correct sides of the edges, if you see what I mean.

I always try to include some more or less hidden details in drawings, because
I myself love it when I can discover more things in the same picture the longer I look.
You are right about the tentacloids, they seem a lil bit wrong. I tried to give them a
transparent look real quickly and some of the drops are supposed to be placed on the
back of them. But it malfunctions somehow.
