HOW DOES EVERYONE SHADE LIKE THISSSSS it looks so good!!

i used a clipping mask of a dark blue multiply layer of 75% and then a low flow/opacity airbrush of different colours on the same layer o/

and to get a bit of a glow, i flattened it all and then duplicated the flattened image and, did a 1.9 radius gaussian blur, made it a clipping mask so it didnt blur the edges and turned it into a soft light layer on a really low fill like maybe 20% or 16 c:

and then a difference layer and an overlay layer to alter the colour a bit
