Yes and no. This one in particular is a bad example, it is overall Medieval and Renaissance, but there is a lot more community elements in it, so most of the shops appeal to a younger audience or a geek/nerd crowd. There were still Medieval performers and tournaments, but this particular Faire is very watered down and public-friendly, where people bring their kids and families go together for a light-hearted time. There are others in the state far more authentic, for want of a better word.
