"I'm proud of my little brother. Sure, he stepped off the family path, but he did it for the right reasons. Plus, now I get to sell his squad weapons."
Another member of the rather expansive Biiley family of merchants, Eruun's specialty lies in weapons. With a steady supply of basic weaponry, he shows up to keep the player's squad supplied - at reasonable prices, of course - with the guns they need to keep going. He even can get hold of mysticism components and healing devices.
Eruun also, if grudgingly, helped Araalen get into the military. While they're always accepting recruits, Eruun called in a few of his contacts to ensure that his younger brother would get to do what he wanted - protecting the frontier, where he grew up and where his family would need him most.
Eruun's attire is a reference to the traditional appearance of the weapons merchants in Fire Emblem, if you couldn't spot it already - the jacket and headdress. Aside from the Tellius games, the weapons merchants always look more or less the same. They also have moustaches, but... well, yeah.
The Malgraan have a single currency, simply referred to as a Malgarian Credit. While there are physical forms of it available, most transactions are done with a Universally Recognized Short-Range Currency Payment Card (or just Payment Card for short), basically a credit card with RFID. Instead of swiping, you hold it to the reader to scan it, but it's much more widespread than credit card readers on Earth today. Computers will come with card readers to facilitate online transactions, and the card can also store additional data for it to double as a public transit pass (although the fare can be deducted directly as well if a pass is not present). It can serve as an ID card as well. For substantial transactions it requires some extra form of authentication, typically a fingerprint. While there are a number of different banks, of course, they all issue cards that meet the standard specification. Essentially, it's a more advanced credit card that is very quick to use but has extra security measures.
Character belongs to me.
