I've been having some very challenging times as of late, and I may eventually talk about them a bit, when I feel a bit more up to it. For now, suffice it to say, that it's been all I can do just to remain functional enough to go to work for eight hours, hence, most of my writing has slowed down to a trickle.
There's not much to be said about this piece, other than the fact that it's a composite of the attitudes and viewpoints of a few of the biggest jerks that I've had the displeasure of working for over the years, and who were very open about the fact that they had little or no respect for anyone that worked for them.

No, I think that one of the quickest and surest ways to get ahead in the world of management is to be an asshole. I've worked for way too many of them in my life for it to be a coincidence, and I know that it's not just me, because I hear the same thing from more people than I can count.
