Twi'leks are a race from Star Wars, right?

They really should do a crossover between Star trek and Star Wars, maybe the crew of the S.S. Enterprise getting sent back in time to the very timeline of Star Wars and getting involved in the big war between the empire and republic while trying to get back to Star Fleet.

nah, it could never work, the science is so totally different. I like them both right where they are :P

How is the science different?

it's just two completely different things, there's no basis to determine how strong one set of shields is compared to another, same with weapons. Besides, we all know Unicron would devour them both and claim himself supreme ruler of all Transformers and Sci-Fi :P

Honestly, that's thinking too much about it, while sci-fi they're not exactly revolving around science, rather on entertainment and story. And Unicron would be taking it too far.

actually, I wasn't putting any thought into it at all. If I had to, I could go into a fairly in depth 'theory' that is based on an unofficial comic which would set the time of Star Wars in Earth's past, but since it's not an official part of the expanded universe, there is nothing to base it on. In order for a 'Wars vs. Trek' to work, you have to have a basic idea of how the technology works. Warp speed in Star Trek is based on real theoretical science, same as the hyper drives in Star Wars.

The idea that Star Wars and Star Trek can coexist without a reason would be like putting Dr. Who in Battlestar Galactica. :P
