Saeko gets work at a thrift store, that she thinks is fabulous, and takes over a portion of the store to feature costuming and cosplay-specific items, and takes advantage of working there to get the best and the cheapest of everything.

Since she only works there part-time, a permanent cash-watcher needed to be hired.
Enter Lindsey.
A lemur-like species, Lindsey is a college student who pretty much only took this job to help pay for school, while being easy to do so she can study during slow hours. Very surly, she tends to hang out with goth types, and finds Saeko's upbeat colourful personality suffocating.
She makes it clear that she wants nothing to do with her or her wacky japanese shenanigans.
She's kawaii tho
