This groundhog is by far, the biggest fella living in my back yard, hes pretty skittish, so, this is as close as I've gotten to him. But I was surprised when I first saw him, alot bigger than I pictured them being. Hes really cute, too. He stays out back in the wild growth, so he doesn't really bother the lawn much, not that I'd care, anyway. ; } I've fed him a few carrots and such, too, that is, left them out for him. They were gone a few hours later, so I'm sure he enjoyed them, heheh.

Heheh, yeah. Dirtpig, Groundhog. Same thing. ; } *Grins* A friend of mine actually calls them that, and its kinda stuck with me.
And yay me. : } I like them myself, quiet, keep to themselves, I need to get some pictures of the bunnies that live further down the hill to, but they run at the drop of a pin, so I'll have to be extra sneaky. ; }

See all that brush back behind the groundhog? Thats acctually on a pretty steep hill into a valley that makes up most of my back yard, totally wild growth, I don't have any real vantage point to set one up, and I don't know how to get a picture through one, anyway, heheh. My zoom lens on the camera isn't very powerful, so I need to be rather close to get anything good. I should be able to get one sometime soon.
