For the past year or so, I've been working hard to meet commission deadlines with an author of children's books; all in hopes of getting some of my art published (and a little pay!). A few days ago, I finally finished. If you'll see me in the children's section of Border's or not, I don't know, but I decided to take the chance to draw Abighaile. I needed to mix up my style and technique a lot for this one, because I'm a bit tired of looking at my Pitt pens and tubed watercolors.

So yay me! Yay colored pencil, pencil, and watercolors! And yay wanting to stab cartoons with a fork until I'm over those late nights of commissions! :3 Oh, and I'll be updating a more true-to-color version as soon as I unpack my scanner.
