I recently got that stealth ship as well. The cyrstal one requires like 3 random events to pop your way but well worth it.
By far my most successful run. http://i.gyazo.com/f869152a0760f388.....636b48233e.png

The events are so tough to get right, then you have to hope your ship even makes it haha.
Impressive build! How late into the game was this? I've been using the Torus for so long trying to get the stealth cruiser, using purely drones, I forgot what a ship looks like without a drone system.

This was the boss sector. I had just arrived. I love this ship particularly because it comes with a Lv1 stealth, a 4person telporter....BUT it starts with NO weapons.. So if I find a rebel drone or a zolten shield ship I have to just take the beating till I can jump. But normally I can send my 3 starting crew over and beat the crap out of the enemy crew and thus you get so much more scrap from killing crew and leaving a ship intact. Each crystal crew as a mouseover ability where they lock a room down so I like to jump the weapons bay and seal it shut to kill that system or the crew who are already in there.
Thank you, haha.
I love to play games with smaller sprites, or pixel-based artwork because it really leaves a lot of the detail to the player's imagination. You get the general feel or vibe of whatever it's supposed to be, but your imagination really takes over for the rest. I drew these guys like I imagine them looking scutting around ships trying to carry out their various tasks. You know, all the while avoiding being burned alive, blown up, asphyxiated, punched, drone'd, or any of the other wonderful things that can happen to you on a sweet, sweet FTL run.

What the carps, FTL! I'm glad others have played this cool indie game. Is been a while since played it. I got kind of upset I couldn't get all of the unlocks and I didn't want to go to a walkthrough or cheat. Still a damn cool game :). Frustrating at times (I always seem to stalemate with the final boss), but awesome.
