Forgiving someone can be one of life's biggest challenges. When society teaches us that its okay to stay bitter at our wrongdoers, that bitterness slowly eats us away. It makes us believe that those who've hurt us do not deserve to be redeemed. Maybe they do, maybe they don't. But regardless, its important for us to learn to forgive. It gives us a breathe of fresh air when we choose to say "I'm moving on from this and towards a better future." Holding a grudge keeps our hearts in a cage, but forgiveness sets our hearts free.
