Depressing thought there.
I don't know, maybe I'm too focused on the glass being half full, but I'd like to think that slowly people are learning. Maybe not soon enough. Maybe it's already too late, but it's nice to think that more and more people are becoming aware, more and more laws being put into place to protect Mother Nature, and more and more species are coming off of the endangered species list.
Water anyone?

The hate for this animal by the English settlers was unreal, it had nothing to do with livestock killings that was the work of feral dogs, they used it as a scape goat because they didn't understand it, they put a bounty of a pound per scalp or skin, the last known thylacine in the wild was shot on a farm by Wilf Batty in 1930, Benjamin was the last known living individual and how did it die?, because they neglected her and she died of malnutrition, they just left her to die alone, it really jerks my tears that they just killed off something as unique as this, R.I.P Benjamin you won't be forgotten.
