Frey was born into a military family if the desert living Serogas people. His mother was a Gutel (humanoid but have some features resembling bobcats) and his father a Serogas general.
Frey was raised very strictly by his father and when he was 13 he joined the Serogas army where he learnt how to handle a great variety of weapons including his favourite weapon the Great Serogas Boomerang, a gigantic metallic boomerang with extremely sharp edges and quite lethal.

His nickname “Lucy” Frey earned because of his luck in games. He almost always win but that’s because he’s clever and know how to cheat really well. And of course lucky X3

To his father’s great dissatisfaction Frey quit the army when he was 24 years old. He wanted to live by his own rules for a while and see more of the world. Then almost on the day two years after he left his home town he stumbled across a group of Kagthael in the desert and when they attacked him he gallantly and quite successfully defended himself against them and finally drove them off. He gained a few scars from that encounter and also the attention of Kirithan’s band of bandits and rebels. They offered him to join in their battle against the monsters and without a moment of hesitation Frey accepted.

Now about his eyepatch… One might think that Frey is one-eyed but as a matter of fact he isn’t! The thing is, his right eye is VERY sensitive to light. In return his other eye is pretty much useless in the dark XD So in the day he covers his right eye with the eyepatch and in the night his left. He sees almost as good in the night as in the day ^^
