I recently talked to a good old friend that i used to RP with back in the day (was like back in my highschool days when i first started getting into the computer stuff lolz). and they reminded me of a character i randomly created up on the spot just for a quick RP one day... but they seemed to really liked the character so much that it made me want to being her back.

I think back in the day she had a Victorian like name.. but since i cant really remember what it was i decided to choose another name for her.. so i picked Absinthe, which is a name of a alcoholic beverage that is said to be addictive, drive people mad, even make them hallucinate or go on a psychedelic trip and a list of other effects that could happen. i thought it was a good name at the time since she will give off that seductive vampiric charm most times.. even when she does not even use it which leave people wanting to be in her company more and more.

Absinthe was born as a pure blooded vampire which means her blood remains pure without any other contamination.
Anyone who has been 'turned' or made into a vampire is considered a non-pure blood. if you traced back her bloodline you'd find that she is one of the early ones, the ancient ones. Because of this she is often seen as royalty to 'lower' vampires as a majority of them are both frightened and in awe of pure blooded vampires. Pure blooded vampires all possess a series of unique powers so because of her blood she has many abilities at her disposal.
She can manipulate shadows and even her own blood, has heightened sense of smell, increased strength and speed and can even to control lower vampires/people physically. That is just a short list of the many things she can do.

Even though Absinthe can be quite the killing machine her family and her just want to simply peacefully coexist with humans. They see no sense in making enemies of the living as it will only lead to pain and suffering and surely their undoing. But due to the nature the regular vampires that just want to live by the vampiric instinct that runs through there veins.. the selfish need to become terrorizing, blood sucking beasts tarnish their peaceful nature and they are still seen as a threat to a majority of people.

Absinthe always let people know that are willing to battle her that she is 'ready to accept what ever fate may have in store for her' and is ready to 'die' at any time... but she sure will make it quite a challenge for anyone that dares try to and she will not be responsible for their death when they are unable to defeat her.
The only way to completely kill her is to stake her in the heart and then chop off her head. While sunlight is a weakness it will NOT kill her. too much exposure to sunlight will cause her fur/skin to severely burn.. to the point of looking like a charcoal burn victim. While like this her regenerative abilities are effected and it will take her days or even weeks just to recover and not to mention her abilities will also become weaker in this state

Absinthe has excellent control over her instincts but every now and again she still feels the need to 'hunt'. Before she plunges her sharp long fangs into her victims neck she sheds a tear for them.. and even softly whispers in their ear that she is sorry for what she is about to do to them.. which is to drain them dry of every last drop of blood, leaving them as a husk.

Even if being bit for just a small amount of blood by Absinthe does not mean you will soon become one of the undead. Instead she has to inject her very own blood into your veins for you to even become a vampire which she is not very willing to do for a person.. no matter how much they may beg.
