Don't guilt yourself into this...You didn't know, and for that you shouldn't blame yourself. I'm sure the times you were with her were memorable ones and that she remembered you in good memories. Her time to go was unplanned, but think of the good times you had with her, and give her spirit some good vibes. I bet she doesn't want you to feel unhappy <:) *nudges softly* you will be ok, i know not now, but you will be. Ill be thinking good thoughts and wishes for you and your grandmother

I agree don't guilt trip yourself, its not something that's planned. Just remember the good memories, those are what you should hold onto. Not the ones you were not there to make.

Personally, I think its sometimes best to not be around when they're in their last days..you want to remember them when they were healthier and more themselves..ya know? Its heartbreaking enough as it is. So just remember good times! Because I bet you anything that's how she'd want to be remembered. I know I would.

Trying to not think about it. But the thought does seem to like to pop up unexpectedly here and there and I become misserable all over again. Though bf and other friends have been steering me in other directions. Waiting on my dad to give a funeral date.
