Just something I've noticed about the virus storyline.

There are realy two major things about it:

1: It grants a Superpower (which at first seems like a problem, but one can presumably train the ability so it is no longer a problem.)

2: The only real side effect is a social stigma.

This raises the question... What makes it a medical malady aside from an early inconvenience?

well some would view it as a handicap, and others aren't quite sure if its contagious.
