My turian OC Aell'ix holed up with a girl I'm dubbing Dana. Dana is ex-Alliance at this point, her squad was massacred by batarian slavers, the very ones Aell'ix is hunting down (free time, I guess, or she heard her girlfriend was in trouble and she was just making sure she was okay... more likely). Afterwards Aell'ix took Dana with her on her ship as a companion. They gain other ship mates, Aell'ix seems to pick up strays.

A little backstory on Dana. Her story relates to my Olivia Shepard who is Earthborn/Sole Survivor. Seriously I have an extensive backstory just on Shepard.... good grief.

But put plainly, Olivia was very much a rogue in the Tenth Street Reds, she played by her own rules, she was very Renegade (except she wasn't a complete asshole, more... think of her like Sherlock Holmes). She had a brother named Jamie who she was intensely close with, who died. Long story, but it kinda broke Shepard. She had left the Reds for a while but after her brother died she went back. She was very lost, but her earlier defection was considered an insult by the current leader who tried to kill her. Knowing Shepard, that didn't go over very well. She killed the leader and a fair few of his minions with only a few minor to moderate injuries.

Dana was there, she had practically grown up with Shepard too, she looked up to her. Shepard took her by the shoulder and told her to do something with her life, and then she left. Dana followed Shepard's example and joined the Alliance when she was able (she lied about her age to join). Dana initially had a far more positive outlook on joining the Alliance than Shepard did. Dana joined to fight for good and Shepard joined to die (that changed obviously due to a very important person in her life...... but I am trying to keep this short).

ANYWAYS. YEP. That's my brain spewing nonsense.
