Paint Series: Alternate History: The Beast of World War 2
September 15, 1943
It had appeared out of nowhere, but it seemed to have come from the depths of man's darkest nightmares. The unidentified creature waded through the occupied city with a kind of wrath never before seen by the eyes of man, making mockeries of the Nazis' best efforts to stop it. Those who witnessed it, including Allied Forces in the region, (pictured) had a hard time accurately describing the towering beast. Many different words came to mind though. Monster, Demon, Behemoth, Towering, Dragon, Gigantic, and Colossal are but a few.
"We couldn't help but feel a little bit sorry for those Ratzi bastards as that... that... THING plowed through their best defenses. This, creature, was crushing panzers as if they were nothing but cheap tincans. I'll tell you what though, it'll be a cold night in hell before you EVER see me going up against that.... monster." said a soldier who bore witness to this shocking incident.
The nation's top scientific minds were unavailable for comment as to the creature's possible origins.
Just something I threw together for a website dealing with Alternate Realities.
Meant to be a "photograph." Using one of those pictures taken of the original Godzilla movie, and pasted in a portion of a photo of some Allied troopers, trying to make it look like they're in the foreground.
*shrugs* I still like the concept though, Godzilla suddenly appearing on the battlefields of World War 2
