I think that if you make the curve of the cheek a tiny bit straighter and maybe pull back the shadow a bit, you will get something closer to what you're imagining it should look like, could be wrong on that though. You might also try adjust the curve of the line governing the upper part of the blue markings, the upward curve seems a bit off, maybe try something more sweeping?

Only other thing that I would change is maybe the tongue. I think it's probably just the color, but it looks like it's dry to me for whatever reason. Other than those few minor things I think it looks good though ^^

When i draw the hair, i start from the back and draw it as if it falls on itself.....that probably made no sense, ill go back to my corner :)
