The man cowered as the shape of his female friend slowly traveled down the neck. The lizard looked at the last human sitting in front of him; sizing him up. As the bulge in its neck passed throught the torso and into the stomach, the lizard decided there was enough room left for this one. After all, no point in wasting perfectly good food.

The man sat on the ground pretending the monster in front of him wasn't there. He believed this was all just some terrifying nightmare that he just couldn't wake up from. He looked up, hopeful to see his bedroom, or at least the creature leaving, but he shuddered at the sight of a gaping maw coming down on top of him. The head grabbed him by the torso and lifted him from the safety of the ground. Like the two friends just before him, the head began snapping his helpless self deeper into the mouth.
