Those who remember the heat that Warner Bros. took back in 2005 when they announced plans to re-cast Bugs Bunny and his friends as a far-future group of dark, anime-esque superheroes called "Loonatics Unleashed" would get it. As a show, it's just not that interesting due to the fact the characters have no investments; unlike Ben 10, Kim Possible and Teen Titans, where the characters have personal problems that they would need to overcome, the Loonatics just fight and fight and fight. Why should I care?

This is what would I think would happen if Disney did the same thing with 101 Dalmatians. The far-future descendents of Lucky, Cadpig, Rolly, Two-Tone, Jewel and Patch (let's call them Luckster, Cadpork, Roll-On, Two-Timer, Quartz and Spatch), all acting as a superhero team against the villainous Cruellanator.

I can hear it now:

In the year 2882, a meteor strikes the city planet of Dodie, knocking it off its rocker and gives birth to a new breed of heroes: the Damnatians!

I'm thinking exactly what Luckster is:

"Oh, hell no..."
