Orginally this was commisioned as a cover for a book catalog. As the dealer was beginning to specialize in dark fantasy, I did something along those lines. The drawing might be almost anywhere after WWIII I suppose, but the ruins of the CN tower in the background are a giveaway. Toronto is naturally a rather swampy area too. Pity we might end up like this in another 20 years anyway, without a WWIII -- just from the shortage of oil, US bankruptcy, global warming, and about a dozen other problems that appear to be getting the upper hand.
