Daily Draw Leftovers: Also Lopunny
Uploading some of the more presentable things I drew last month. Most will probably be scrapped. I wasn't satisfied with this car, so I added a lopunny. Pokemon makes everything better!

The car's not based on anything in particular. The badge in the grille is based on a personal logo I used a long time ago. The name "Hlavco" was invented so I would have a fake brand to sponsor the race cars I would draw back in middle school. It remains my username because I haven't thought of anything better.
I got into drawing cars in the sixth grade when my dad shared with me the mindblowing revelation that you could turn a 2D drawing into a 3D one by making diagonal lines come off of all the corners.
Then in the eleventh grade I was like "Man, I'm kinda getting bored drawing all these cars. What else do I like?" and so began my pokemon phase. This was helped by the also-mindblowing revelation that hind legs kinda look like the number "2". Some of my earlier ones (that were decent enough to bother scanning) are here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2182473/

Thats really cool. I only got serious about drawing really late (and also we were always behind on technology so I couldn't get help from the internet)
I wasn't good at drawing any particular thing except overcomplicated pulley systems to operate ceiling fans X3
The first thing I ever tried to actually study and get right was Pikachu X3
An odd revelation hit me then too - the revelation that everything has a crotch and at some point you have to draw it - which means not only looking directly at it, but thinking about how it should look XD
It was an awkward revelation XD

As far as studying and getting things right... almost all of my drawing took place while I was bored in school, so for a long time I never really referenced anything aside from memory. That and the fact that I mostly used a Bic pen instead of a pencil and eraser are probably the main contributing factors to why my frequently-drawn pokemon tend not to look much like their official designs. I still give my eevees white manes/tails instead of cream-colored ones, because i found it to be a nice-looking mistake.
I think your versions look much better =3
Considering my bad memory, and the lack of furry anything or TV, my start was way after Pokemon began reruns XD
Most my progress came after buying my own laptop and finding an art program, where I could CTRL+Z for stray lines and flip horizontal to find mistakes
So after much practice on the computer, I got to where I can draw on paper
Pretty backwards, isn't it? XD
