Jones spends a lot of his time working on his car, it's his baby and he loves it.
He works on it most when he's upset with Oric, it's how he works out his stress. Currently he's working on replacing the engine and the exhaust system and such so that he can use it inside the realms. It'll be a pain in his butt to work on, but he worked on cars for a living before he got to work on Oric, so he's got this in the bag.
