So, pretty much since we moved in here we suspected we might have rats.... One morning i found rat droppings and a chewed up oven mit
but other than that single occasion, and a few of our cats constantly watching the kitchen cupboards, we never found anything leading us to believe we actually had a problem.
until last night! i heard some feint, to feint to be our rats, frantic squeaking so i went into the living room to find Albert fumbling with a baby rat! he hasnt seem to have done any damage to her and dropped her as soon as a grabbed her tail(tho she managed to grab the fur on his neck but didnt take long to let go)
she's in this little cage right now, and laineys dad was supposed to wake us so he could let her go somewhere but i guess he forgot??? so now im stuck with her until we go shopping tonight
but we'll probably set out some traps and warn the neighbors.
shes an angel though, and if it didnt put my babies at risk i'd keep her in a heartbeat. shes pretty scared, which is understandable, so shes got a nice little igloo to hide in and i gave her a bit of brownie to make sure she ate.
