I'm sorry to hear about your geckos passing, but happy you have a new buddy. Bearded dragons are great, they seem really social. :)
My Nova was doing a bit of tail shaking today. I realized he could see the females in the tank next to him and he was getting excited so I had to hide them. lol I love when they do that during hunting. Watching them go after crickets is endlessly entertaining!

oh my gosh that sounds awful, but sadly funny! XD I've seen some wonky tails, so I'm pretty pleased with how hers is considering it's a regen! Show me a pic! I love leos. :3
As far as aggression goes it's usually not a problem with the females unless they're "hot" females (incubated at high temperatures), in too small of an enclosure or mismatched in proportion to size with another female (bullying smaller females could be a problem).
