50 years before the Eclipse Cannon incident there was a program named Project Shadow, a medical research project created by the United Federation. On the 27th of January, the first successful prototype of Project Shadow was created under the direct supervision of Dr. Gerald Robotnik. Unfortunately this prototype did not end up as successful as initially thought. The prototype succeeded in the fact that is could regenerate, restore itself, and self reproduce, however the repeated experiments weakened the prototype greatly, so much so that it eventually needed a life support system to remain viable. Eventually time and money were shifted to the final phase of Project Shadow which resulted in the creation of the Ultimate Lifeform, Shadow the Hedgehog.

Unfortunately for all involved (and as the G.U.N. later came to regret), the Biolizard proved too difficult to control as it acted more like an unruly animal than anything else. Even though the Prototype was powerful, there were very few that could control it. That thought alone prompted the G.U.N to attack Space Colony Arc under the guise of a 'Biohazard catastrophe' in order to secretly destroy all involved with Project Shadow. A cleverly disguised humantarian effort so everyone could merely blame Robotnik for the so called 'Biohazard catastrophe' that killed hundreds. At this stage in the game, nobody realized the the Biolizard had in fact gained some modicum of intelligence. By the time the G.U.N. soldiers arrived to shut down the Biolizard, it didn't give them a chance to simply....'shut the Project down.'

"By this time, my memory works quite well, and I also later found out the the so called 'Ultimate Lifeform' fled the colony. So I alone wiped out most of the G.U.N.'s assault party before falling victim to their cheap tricks.....well it might have been due to my limited intellect at that time, but I was eventually put to sleep. While in my fifty year slumber, I had many dreams, I later found out were implanted in me by my 'Father' Dr. Gerald Robotnik. In these dreams, he imparted in me his will to destroy humanity. He even taught me some of the working of the space colony, which of course I still dont understand at this point...,but I suppose it would be more accurate to say....I understood by instinct."

"When I awoken, I immediately knew what I had to do, which was prevent anyone from stopping the Eclipse Cannon from firing. In my hazy memory, I remember there being a single figure rising to meet my defiant challange.....my own 'Brother.' The traitor to the Doctor's will...Shadow the Hedgehog....my so called successor. Now, haven just awoken, I didn't particularly care who or what stood before me so I acted off instincts and attacked...unfortunately I didn't realize the consequences of attacking without any real strategy, so he hit me while I was in my weakened state and attempted to destroy my life support system. I'm a very task oriented individual, so upon the realization that eclipse cannon would no longer fire, I made use of a...special chaos control, in order to fuse my body with the colony."

"While it was an inelegant solution to my problems, it also granted me a bit more intelligence. After all, being fused with an entire colony will most certainly beat out any education system. On hindsight though, I was a bit foolish not to take advantage of the wealth of information until it was too late. It was a pretty good effort, considering how limited my mental capacity was, but eventually I was defeated...again by Shadow the Hedgehog, and an extra other I knew nothing about. Before I was forcibly removed from the colony, I managed to use the last of my power to create myself anew....albeit a miniature version of what I once was in my body. Unfortunately this new version of my would also require a life support system, but thanks to the technological advances of the colony, I managed to simply take what I needed inside my body during the fusion to make another."

"As everyone suspected, my original body was destroyed in the atmosphere, but it did provide enough protection for my secondary shell, which landed the middle of an ocean. For the past couple of months I have been collecting information, and have kept my existence secret, even during the Black Arms incident which I found QUITE amusing for I managed to test the limit of my abilities without anyone being suspicious at all. I'm confident that if the Black Arms had taken over the world, that I would have eventually taken it back with little trouble. There was also hearsay about a being that could control time and space better than the chaos emeralds ever could....I wish I could have met this individual to perhaps align his agenda with my own."

"With all the latest confusion now should be the perfect time to act....and I still see no reason why the human race should exist. Brother....Shadow the Hedgehog....Your a fool for believing otherwise. "

As you might have guessed this is the Biolizard in anthro form, artist being the same one that made my character Atlas. For some reason i'm still not quite satisfied with this rendition, but when I get other ideas I'll be sure to commission the same artist or another one to straighten up this idea a bit more.
