Home prices will probably bottom in 2009 or 2010. I have quite a bit of experience in purchasing homes which I then rent, so I keep a close eye on the market. Figure on a purchase target date roughly 1 to 2 1/2 years from now. The place looks beautiful, quiet, and peaceful - I sure hope that you get it!
